Bell & Ross are in a Spin for Only Watch 2011
written by A.Morgan - 8th Jul 2011

When you think of Monaco you think of yachts, glamour, racing, money, and of course – casinos. Considering Monaco is only two square kilometres in size, there are five fully fledged casinos in operation there, and in true fairy tale fashion, each is more dazzling and wondrous than the last. The same could be said of Bell and Ross, who have seemingly discovered their passion for reinventing the way we view time. What with the Radar, the Twelve O’Clock concept and now this, it seems that Bell and Ross are on a roll (pun definitely intended).
Cunningly, they have used the same disc arrangement that was seen in the previous concepts and given it the appearance of a roulette wheel, with the outer zero pointing out the hour, the ball pointing to the minutes and the spinner as the seconds. Adding to the luxurious feel that would be expected in any one of the Principality’s five casinos is the lavish use of rose gold for the case front, bezel and dial. It’s a fun and refreshing entry from Bell and Ross, and should do well at the Only Watch auction. You know the drill – if you want it, you need to make your way over to Monaco on the 22nd of September 2011 with an open mind and an open wallet – remember, it’s for a very good cause.
