Graham Release the Rainbow
written by A.Morgan - 21st Nov 2011
With models such as the Chronofighter and the Swordfish gracing their collection, Graham can’t be accused of being boring.

But just to be sure that no-one even contemplates wondering if they should even begin to think that Graham might possibly be boring, they have just announced a special edition that should put any notion of this to bed quicker than a kid on Christmas Eve. So here we have it; the Graham Swordfish Booster Iris.
The name comes from the new iridescent coating that has been applied using a complex process developed exclusively for Graham. A plasma reaction in a vacuum is generated to produce the complex lattice of oxidation that leaves the finished Swordfish refracting every colour of the rainbow (which is what ‘iris’ means in Latin). Like a fresh puddle of oil, the colours change with the light and the angle, creating a rippling display that flows over the watch like a weird chameleonic alien skin.
Matched with a daring lizard green strap and a black mother-of-pearl dial, the Booster Iris has taken the standard Swordfish to new levels of intrigue. Looking at it is as rewarding as wearing it, and you can be sure that the several nanometre-thick coating will catch your eye time and time again. This little phenomenon can be had for just over £10,000.
